~Are christians truly becoming "revolutionaries", "life-coaches" & "internet-independents" who are rising above submitting themselves to the leadership of a pastor in a local Christ-centered church?
... Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near (Heb. 10:23-25).
*Hope to see you in church on Sunday!

Hey Campman,
Thanks for your kind comment.
I just listened to a sermon from Mark Driscoll of Mars Hill Seattle about preaching where he talks about how a church is defined. You should try and give it a listen. It's his podcast feed on Itunes.
Congrats on starting the blog.
i'll be there.
have a great Lord's day

I strongly agree with Hebrews 10. I also believe that the "church" is made up of the fellowship of believers. If they have a designated place to worship every week -- that's great. This Sunday will be my last in a church I have been a member of for the past 10 years. My husband helped build the building they are currently in. I believe God has called me and my family to be part of a church plant. We currently meet in our home, but after 2 meetings we are busting at the seams. We are currently looking for a larger place to meet. No matter where we end up physically, we (the people) are the church.
Yehp...agreed, "people" - are the "church".
~BTW, congrats on the "multiplying-out-church-plant-God-thing" !
